Global Market for Baby Disposable Diapers to Reach US$29.0 Billion by 2015, According to New Report by Global Industry Analysts, Inc.

A highly commoditized market, baby diapers is intrinsically a tough category for manufacturers to operate in. But the market confronted its toughest challenge ever, manifested in the form of the recent world economic slowdown. Although baby diapers are necessities and represent baby care products that are not readily compromised by doting parents, the market nevertheless is not recession proof as widely opined. The prolonged world economic recession has taken its toll on the baby disposable diapers market with demand growth decelerating in developing markets and sales eroding in developed markets such as the U women's coats nited States.

Decreases in purchase frequencies, coupled with consumers trading down to branded goods sold at popular-to-moderate price points, has exerted pressure on the market's revenue earning capability. Shrewder use of the product and innovation in absorptive capacity has extended the period between diaper changes, thus leading to a decline in purchase frequencies. Fall in purchase frequencies is also the result of frugal consumer spending triggered by falling disposable spends, reduction in household wealth and rise in unemployment. Additionally, the recession has induced shifts in consumer preferences towards lesser expensive cloth diapers, which further squeezed revenue opportunities in the market.

Growth in baby disposable diapers market post recession primarily hinges onto resurgence in consumer spending habits, and gradual trading up to premium diapers, which can generate higher revenue for market participants. With the recession triggering changes in baby diapering systems, manufacturers across the globe are seeking new ways to stay afloat. Interestingly, manufacturers in developed, mature markets such as the US and Europe are focusing on the premium segment to expand value sales. This is primarily because falling birth rates in these countries leave very little scope for volume sales gains. Innovation ranks high on the charts with leading players like P&G and Kimberly Clark focusing on roping in top-notch designers to develop designer baby diapers. The designer diaper market is thus forecast to emerge as the next battleground in these markets, with diaper R&D shifting from developing super absorbent and safe materials towards aesthetics, and thus developing product concepts for designer diapers.

Key marketing strategies adopted by manufacturers to revitalize the market include adoption of adroit marketing strategies, such as, offering price-to-value benefits, innovating product features and harnessing the power of social media to target modern socially networked parents. Russia, China, Brazil, India, and other developing countries pan out attractive future growth opportunities for manufacturers, and product variables poised to score the highest gains will be convenience and ease of use and disposal.

As stated by the new market research report on baby disposable diapers, Europe continues to remain the largest regional market. Asia-Pacific on the other hand, is the fastest growing regional market. The sheer number of annual births, increase in the number of working women, fast-paced consumer lifestyles, improving economic affluence, rising spends per child, and growing awareness over the importance of hygiene are the primary factors driving robust growth in Asia-Pacific.

Major players in the marketplace include Associated Hygienic Products LLC, First Quality Enterprises, Godrej Consumer Products, Kao Corporation, Kimberly-Clark Corp., Ontex, Procter & Gamble, SCA Hygiene Products, Uni-Charm Corp, among others.

The research report titled "Baby Disposable Diapers: A Global Strategic Business Report", announced by Global Industry Analysts, Inc., provides a comprehensive review of market trends, drivers, issues, profiles of major players, product developments and other strategic industry activities. The report provides market estimates and projections for major geographic markets such as United States, Canada, Japan, Europe (France, Germany, Italy, UK, Spain, and Rest of Europe) Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Rest of World.

Add a Touch of Black Magic with Laura Ashley

All Hallows' Eve is almost upon us, with the supermarkets full of grinning pumpkins and ghoulish masks, not to mention tooth-janglingly huge bags of sweets with which to tempt the children.

There are better reasons to come over to the dark side than the lure of candy, though - charcoal tones of jet black and deep grey are a spot on trend for AW10, adding a dramatically elegant touch to any interior. Whether featured on large design elements, like curtains, or smaller items, such as light shades or cushions, it's not just the timeless sophistication of monochromatic black and white that will add interest to an interior. Colours from this palette will also add depth to pearly greys or muted metallics, as well as perfectly complementing natural shades of biscuit and ecru - and giving a further punch of drama to the warm berry and deep red tones that make interiors so very enticing in the colder months.

Winter is rich with the promise curling up cosily on a sofa, with the curtains drawn against the night - and whether your women's coats chairs are covered in the sumptuous velvet of the Caitlyn range, or windows hung with Isodore's lush brocade, the Laura Ashley range of fabrics offers plenty of choice for those wanting to create a wickedly beckoning, slightly gothic look.

Experts say that the best rest comes in a room that is sufficiently dark to usher you away to Dreamland, so charcoal elements will not only enhance the look of your bedroom but also assist you in getting the perfect night's sleep - after all, who wouldn't prefer darkness to come by way of the luxe Kimono or Lille wallpapers than in the under-eye smudges of a restless night?

Fears about incorporating darker colours into a room with smaller proportions can also be assuaged with the inclusion of a bold mirror like the Henshaw, framed in sleek black, to add the illusion of space, or easy-to-incorporate home accessories along the lines of or the pinch-pleated silk of the Fenn shade or piles of Vittorio and Nigella cushions.

Hallowe'en may have a magic of its own but these interior elements are more bewitching than witching, more treat than trick. And really, why would you want it any other way?

Richard Maize: On Christmas, Hanukkah - How Do We Decide Which Charity, How Much?

"There are so many worthwhile charities to donate too on Christmas and Hanukkah. Where does one start and one end in their time and efforts in donating to charitable funds," asks Richard Maize.

"First off, you need to recognize that you are a 'giver,'" says Richard Maize. "For me, my wife Rochelle and I have established the Rochelle and Richard Maize Foundation, http://www.richardmaizefoundation.com, that was established as a vehicle to give to a wide variety of both local LA and global charities. Our foun women's jackets dation is simply a family foundation with a limited amount of funds."

"Here are the reasons and charities we look at," says Richard Maize.

"Family and friends are involved. The Rochelle and Richard Maize Foundation would say that almost all charities are worthwhile and for our associates to be involved, the only thing we can do is to support and applaud their efforts. Charities are a selfless job and I am grateful that my friends and family are not only involved financially, many of them are very involved with their time and effort. We just don't say no. For example, this last weekend, the Foundation supported a function for ORT," says Richard Maize.

"The Rochelle and Richard Maize Foundation are especially supportive of humanitarian causes and charities that are in desperate need of funds if only just to keep their lights on for Christmas and Hanukkah - throughout the year."

Richard Maize adds: "Some are religious oriented. The Jewish Federation, Vista del Mar, YLDI, Chabad of BelAir, JVN, US Committee for Sports in Israel (Maccabiah Games / Jewish Olympics) and many others."

"Among those that are non generic in nature are Cedar Sinai hospital (Board of Governors), feeding the homeless. And USO - it gets no better than supporting our service men and women. And helping those in catastrophe such as in Hurricane Katrina and the Haiti earthquake of recent events."

"The Rochelle and Richard Maize Foundation is mandated by the income the founders make from year to year. There are no grants nor outside contributors," says Richard Maize.

"A minimum of 15% of the yearly gross income is forwarded to the Rochelle and Richard Maize Foundation."

"As to why and how much to give to each charity is predicated on what each charity stands for and our belief in it. Also make sure that the majority of actual dollars donated gets through to the cause that you are giving. There are charities that have such big salaries to the executive staff and the politics of the individual charities are of such, that only a very small percentage of the actual dollars given are used toward the cause," says Richard Maize.

"We have no problem with this young man of 26 years of age - Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook - giving a great amount of his sudden wealth to charities," says Richard Maize.

"The question is why?"

"A simple and good answer would be that Mark Zuckerberg simply doesn't need that much money to live a lavish lifestyle and while being young and still earning more than he will ever need. Zuckerberg may want to help a variety of needy organizations and for that much money can actually make a very big difference."

Richard Maize concludes: "I was recently asked if I made a one billion dollars, what would I do with it? The answer I had was I would be able to give more away."

Richard Maize adds: "For one, it avoids the income tax on those gross dollars so that the government is participating. And second, I couldn't do anything more with a billion dollars than I could with 200 million (other than buying completely unnecessary toys). I could live where I wanted and drive any car I chose. Vacations would be lavish and so would the clothes on our backs. At the same time, a big contribution would bring a big welcome smile to needy people and or medical research. That would make me the happiest."

The Rochelle and Richard Maize Foundation is a philanthropic organization that supports and contributes volunteer and financial resources to causes locally in the community and worldwide by supporting meaningful programs focusing on art, culture, family services and health care that work to help people live more fulfilling lives.

Richard Maize, a respected leader in the mortgage banking real estate industry, http://www.richardmaizerealestate.com, and a mentor to young entrepreneurs, has generously supported organizations and causes including the American Cancer Society, Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, Hurricane Katrina, Los Angeles Police Foundation, USO, Haiti earthquake relief efforts, Israel Flying Aid and Cedars Sinai Board of Governors.

Richard Maize and his wife, Rochelle Maize, are longtime benefactors of the American Cancer Society, among many other organizations, and Richard Maize has been recognized for his efforts on behalf of more than a dozen charitable groups and community projects.

The Rochelle and Richard Maize Foundation supports an extraordinary number of foundations, organizations, and non-profit groups.

The Rochelle and Richard Maize Foundation is a philanthropic organization that supports and contributes volunteer and financial resources to community and global causes by supporting programs focusing on art, culture, family services, and healthcare. Celebrity Baby Blog Reviews Baby Sherpa Diaper Backpack

Celebrity Baby Blog recently reviewed the Baby Sherpa Diaper Backpack and Shorthaul Backpack -- and their celebrity owners -- Tiger Woods and his wife, Elin. Baby Sherpa scores a hole in one for quality, durability and great design.

Elin Nordegren Woods and Tiger Woods both own Baby Sherpa bags to carry in their travels and during long days out on the golf course with baby Sam Alexis Woods. But Elin's Baby Sherpa bag is extra special to her.

The company outfitted her with a Short Haul ($85) version of their popular bag in Cobalt Blue and Gold, the colors of her native Sweden. The Short Haul has all the features of the larger Baby Sherpa bag, it's just made a little smaller for petite women and people who are not packing for as long of a day out with the kids. We love how completely tough and functional these bags are. Not to mention nearly indestructible.

Celebrity Baby Blog Review

In the world of diaper bags, Baby Sherpas are the true professionals. You may feel comfortable with an amateur bag for a quick trip to Starbucks. But for that all day outing at the zoo? Or that 11 hour trip back east to see Grandma? Well then it's time to pack it all up in a hardworking backpack-style bag. It's time to reach for a real performer that was inspired by the climbers of Mt Everest.

Baby Sherpa bags were designed with some serious parenting in mind. No convenience has been overlooked. Dads love this bag too because there is a place for everything and it does not make them look like a dork who is digging through their wife's purse. They can appreciate that this bag is not for wimps and it means business, celeb dads Brad Pitt and Tiger Woods are fans. The functional features and ways you can make this bag work are almost too numerous to list, but click on the extended post for a basic tour and a coupon code.

The Coolers:
The bottom part of the bag is a generously sized, mylar-lined insulated compartment. Keep your food and beverages cold (or warm) in here. A mesh pouch at the top of the compartment holds your ice pack in place, if you use one. Want to keep your own water cool and baby's bottle warm? No problem. A detachable insulated bottle pocket on the outside of the bag keeps everything just the right temperature.

The Pockets:
When it comes to bags like this, you really can't have too, many can you? The pockets on the Baby Sherpa are not gratuitous. They all serve a higher purpose. On the inside, up top, there are easy to access separate compartments for diapers and wipes, a change of clothes, and toiletry/first aid items. These interior compartments easily hold all your diapering needs, a change of clothes and a lightweight blanket. The dense foam, padded diaper changing pad slips into it's own dedicated compartment along the backside of the bag and does double duty as added padding and back support when you are wearing this bag. Then there are all the outside pockets. Two zippered and two mesh outer pockets contain all the stuff you need to grab in a hurry.

The Hangers On:
You know how kids always want to bring along a blanket or stuffie? And then they get sick of carrying it ... Or how they g Tips: Find Street Fashion Online(may be you can find what you want on the oasap.com) et too hot when you get to where you are going and hand you their sweater (sherpa)? How about when their shoes get all sandy at the beach and they refuse to put them back on? You could not, or would not want to shove all this excess gear into a normal diaper bag. But with the Baby Sherpa you have a way to carry them, and remain hands-free, because the Baby Sherpa has toy loops, plastic hooks with carabiners and bungee cord lacing on the outside. Stuff that blankie and stuffie under the bungee cord, clip those shoes onto a caribiner and carry on! Additional clips, hooks, and rings are provided on the straps for you to attach keys, a cell phone or any and everything else you might ever want to have dangling at arms reach.

The Ergonomics:
This bag is designed to get you there with all your stuff intact, including your own back. So you can skip that trip to the chiropractor's office. The Baby Sherpa has been ergonomically designed and includes sternum and hip straps for those days when your journey is extra long and your load is extra heavy. The shoulder straps are heavily padded and adjustable for any size.

The Finishing Touches:
Everything from the rough and tumble exterior cloth, to the high quality tough as nails zippers and sturdy mesh, is designed to perform, and to last. This is a bag you can take with you anywhere, anytime -- It's up to the challenge. Some thoughtful additions to the exterior that we appreciate include reflective tape accents for nighttime visibility and a carrying handle on the top of the bag for grab and go convenience. It's also nice to know that this bag will serve you well long past the diaper days. It's an excellent bag for hiking, for students, or to store all your video/photography equipment. You'll never outgrow this bag.

It's easy to see why these bags are popular with celebrities who travel with their kids regularly. Brad Pitt has been spotted carrying the camo version of one of these bags and more recently, Elin and Tiger Woods received these bags for their all day outings. Tiger got the full size Baby Sherpa and Elin got the scaled down Short Haul version in blue and gold -- The colors of Sweden, her native country.
